The pavilion barge Freonskip is very spacious given its limited length and equipped with all comforts for long journeys across the European waterways. Layout

You enter the spacious living salon through the large aft deck. Here, multiple seating areas have been created, and the helm is also located here. From the helm, you have a clear view over the spacious foredeck where the crane is also located. The open kitchen and smart cabinet wall complete the whole. This space is equipped with a concrete floor with underfloor heating. With all the surrounding windows, you have a clear view of the surroundings and the passing ships.

The (guest) cabins, which are equipped with an ensuite bathroom and underfloor heating, are accessed via the stairs on the port and starboard sides. A separate staircase leads to the forepeak with the master bedroom, bathroom, storage room, and access to the engine room. This storage room can also be used to store the (compact) car with the crane, but you will need a quay for that.

On the aft deck, there are several fixed benches and a hot tub that is heated by the ship's engine. Can you already see yourself relaxing here after a day of sailing?

Technology

The ship has been thoroughly renovated by the current owners into an easily navigable houseboat with all amenities in limited dimensions. The underwater hull is in good condition and is equipped with a hydraulic bow thruster. The Daf 575 provides enough power to get the ship moving. The hydraulic crane is ideal for taking a compact car/motor etc.

The electrical system is well organized with Victron multiplus and isolator and a 1200 ah 24 volt battery bank. For heating on cold days, there is a Baxi diesel central heating and hot water via an electric boiler. There are ample tanks available for long trips (1,800 liters of diesel, 2,000 liters of water, and 1,900 liters of waste water). The walls and decks of the ship are insulated with foam.

Sailing area

Due to its limited dimensions, the ship can be navigated with a small boating license and does not require CVO/CBB inspections. For a mooring, the ship can go to most marinas but can also participate in the ship carousel.

The sailing area of the ship is the waterways of Western Europe and is ideal for sailing through Belgium and France. The Netherlands also offers plenty of waterways to explore.
