Description
Classic Van de Stadt - type Staron (H 1300).
Built by Huisman in Ronduite (Royal Huisman Shipyard) in aluminum for the Admirals Cup. Very well maintained and original ship for comfortable vacations and races. Very complete and much renewed since its construction in 1968. At that time, it was the crowd-puller of the Hiswa and described in the Waterkampioen.
The ship can be sailed solo or with a complete racing crew. Still fast, very seaworthy, and solidly built. The unique interior with “dinette” directly in front of the cabin entrance is comfortable and cozy, allowing you to look outside well while sitting inside. So, no long stairs down.
The cockpit has nice benches to lie down comfortably. Another clever interior detail: The doors of the spacious wardrobe and the WC work both ways, creating a separate cabin from the forepeak. The pilot berths are popular with (grand)children, and at sea, they are comfortable to sleep in. So, there are actually 9 sleeping places and plenty of storage space in cabinets, benches, and storage boxes.
Recently, the deck has been completely renovated. The old teak deck has been removed and replaced with corecell-epoxy. On the cabin, thermal modified ash wood slats have been laid, within the original teak edges. The keel has been renewed. The aluminum hull has been completely stripped, professionally filled, and painted. The underwater ship is protected against fouling with environmentally friendly Finsulate. Complete Bisonyl winter tent on frame.
Sailing wardrobe: Three sizes of genoa tapedrive from De Vries Makkum with tell-tales on Profurl Racing roller reef profile, mainsail (De Vries Sails, Fibrecon Pro Vectran, 2017), reefing in a jiffy, perfectly trimmed rigging with baby stay and Dyform rigging, Dyneema halyards and genoa sheets, extra large “silent” oil-filled genoa winches (specially built by Huisman), Hydraulic backstay tensioner (up to 5000 Lb, refurbished), custom-made spinnaker, double spinnaker poles, storm jib, storm spinnaker, gennaker.
Engine: Nanni 38 Hp, from 2015 with 460 hours with variable pitch propeller. Very complete ship, original construction drawing available.
