Oceanis 430 from 1987The Oceanis 430, designed by Philippe Briand, is a well-known model that emerged when French boats were not so common in Italy; however, it represents the right choice for those who love comfort and safety.
The Oceanis 430 is still built with a semi-structural mold, meaning it is completely resin-coated to the hull. The bulkheads are also traditional, and all the stresses from the mast are distributed from these to the keel.
The systems, however, have already taken on the characteristics of mass production.
In the years when this boat was built, boats were still made with real wood interiors
with solid moldings, visible drawers, and upholstered ceilings.
All of this can be seen on the Oceanis 430 and pleases the eye, especially in the owner’s version with three cabins where the owner’s cabin, at the bow, is very well finished. The versions of the Oceanis 430 with four cabins, with two bathrooms.
The kitchen is built-in on the left side, on the right the horseshoe-shaped dinette, and behind this is the large chart table. The cockpit of the Oceanis 430 is deep and well protected, the central table is comfortable for outdoor dining.
Particularly comfortable and without any contraindications is the swim platform at the stern.
The Oceanis 430 is a Beneteau, and this says a lot about its resale value. It is especially suitable for those who love comfortable cruises spent between long stops at anchor and large lunches with friends, ensuring great safety while sailing.
Probably today it is one of the boats with the most convenient cost-quality ratio.
Between 1985 and 1992, as many as 426 units of Oceanis 430 were produced.
