X-452 is an elegant hull with fine wood finishes, customized interiors.
The boat is always maintained and over the years refitting work has been done that has made the boat always ready for sailing.

SAILS AND SAIL RIGGING

2 North sails cruising and racing mainsails, (dacron cruising set made in 2011 and overhauled by North Sails in 2016 and a 2011 NS 3DL 600 racing mainsail)
Spinnaker, various other jibs : 1 Light, 2 Medium, 3 Olympic fence, torment, mainsail.
3 halyards (2 for spi + jib), high load, low load, cunningham, 2 reefing hands, German mainsail circuit, double vang circuit, spinnaker pole, removable forestay, 2 non-structural flying shrouds, NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with pressure gauge.
The jib furler (double channel) is simply removable and this allows you to rig even sails tacked directly on deck, the boat is also equipped with another TUFF-LUFF forestay in rod substantially never used.

MAINTENANCE
The hull underwent a complete INTERNATIONAL anti-osmosis treatment in the year 2020. Last antifouling August 2023.
The stripes on the hull were applied new in 2020, the 10 side portholes were all replaced in 2021, the plexiglass of the other 10 portholes on the deck is currently being replaced.
The cockpit and a part of the foredeck are clad in teak completely rebuilt in 2019.
The windlass was replaced in 2024, the anchor chain (70 meters) replaced in 2024, the Delta anchor 20 Kg. in 2024.
The mast is a one-piece made by CARIBONI repainted in 2018, in the same year the spreaders were partly redone, some shrouds were replaced, all the others checked with certification, the rigging is in rod (excluding the forestay which is in spiral), the nickel-plated bronze shrouds lathes were replaced in 2011.
In 2016, wind instruments were replaced, the backstay tensioner piston was overhauled, the rudder rollers and the rudder column bearings were replaced.
In 2018, the axle line bushing and seal were replaced.
The engine has always been regularly checked with biennial overhaul, injectors, etc., the alternator was replaced in 2018 with an oversized 80A plus new 2023 engine intake.
