M/YJOYA is a fascinating displacement vessel with a unique character, designed and built in 1996 for personal use by master shipwright Giordano Rosati at his Cantiere Azzurro, renowned throughout the Mediterranean for its ability to combine the strength and safety of traditional fishing boats with the comfort and finishes of luxury yachts.

Built entirely in teak and iroko, M/YJOYA preserves the timeless charm of a classic yacht while offering high standards of comfort: three double cabins, two bathrooms, air conditioning (Hot - Cold), and excellent sound insulation.

Equipped with two 350 HP Caterpillar engines and navigation stabilizers, she ensures safe, comfortable, and efficient cruising, with low fuel consumption (approximately 16 l/h at 7 knots, 38 l/h at 10 knots).

The vessel has had only three owners, all of whom have maintained her with great care. Over time, improvements have been made while fully respecting her original identity, using exclusively wood and steel: a telescopic awning on the flybridge, hydraulic gangway, silent refrigeration compressor in the hold, and an additional wide and comfortable swim ladder.

Between 2021 and 2024, major works were carried out: restoration of the underwater hull, complete replacement of the teak deck with cork insulation, and full overhaul of engines and transmissions.  All exterior above-deck woodwork is regularly re-varnished with clear varnish, while interior wood is maintained with dedicated oils, all kept in excellent condition to fully express her classic style.

For over 20 years, both routine and extraordinary maintenance, as well as winter storage (6 months a year in a shed), have been entrusted to the same trusted shipyard, with full documentation of all works performed.
