REFIT/ INSPECTIONS

Dry dock:
- Inspection of anchors and chains
- Tank inspection, emptying and cleaning
- Complete control of the seacocks and their valves, with disassembly

Machinery and plants:
- Full inspection of the main engines, including internal verification
- Complete inspection of gearboxes, including internal verification
- Full inspection of generators, including internal verification
- Lubricating oil analysis of main engines, generators and gearboxes
- Overhaul of bilge and fire pumps, with internal inspection
- Verification of the CO₂ fire extinguishing system
- Bow thruster inspection
- Control of the steering system and the emergency system
- Inspection of navigation lanterns, with disassembly
- Electrical insulation test

Hull and structure:
- General inspection of the hull and structures
- Control of windows, doors and hatches
- Inspection of fans and ventilation ducts
- Control of hull openings and penetrations
- Verification of watertight bulkheads
- Power generation system control

Operational tests:
- Verification of the correct functioning of bilge and fire pumps and related alarms
- Smoke detection system test
- Sea trials
- Functional verification of the CO₂ fire extinguishing system
- Testing of steering system, emergency steering and windshield wipers/windshield.
