This low mileage Contest 60 C has had only two owners in her entire life, the most recent since 2013. A splendid and rare high-quality blue water cruiser, built in a very limited number of units in 2003 by Contest Yachts, a shipyard renowned for its solid construction, comfort, and safety at sea, while consistently maintaining, compared to its more direct competitors, a strong focus on lightweight construction, customization, and sailing performance.

The interiors, elegant and functional, feature three cabins: a spacious owner’s cabin aft with en-suite bathroom and separate shower, and two guest cabins forward served by two bathrooms. Originally, the two guest bathrooms shared a shower; currently, a door has been closed for greater privacy, so one of the bathrooms no longer has a shower (though the door can easily be restored). The yacht also features a crew cabin located forward, near the bathrooms serving the guest cabins. It is currently not fitted out for accommodation and is used as a sail locker; however, the available space allows for the easy installation of berths, making it suitable to accommodate a crew of two.

The yacht is equipped with elctric winches and hydraulic furlers for all the sails; Inside: three refrigerators, one of which is convertible into a freezer, a watermaker, heating system, air conditioning, and a generator; ideal for extended stays on board. Fully equipped with safety gear for unrestricted offshore navigation (liferaft to be serviced and EPIRB batteries to be replaced). 

This unit is in overall good condition, with significant and ongoing maintenance and upgrade work carried out recently. Some medium-term maintenance may be considered depending on the intended use, such as renewal of the standing rigging, refinishing of mast and boom paintwork, and, over time, evaluation of the deck teak.
