Designed by Bernard Olesinski and the Fairline Design Team, the hull has a very deep "V" forward with 18 degree deadrise aft giving a very soft entry into head seas, very easy planing and superb handling.

The isophthalic gelcoat used in construction is backed by an isophthalic resin-rich powder-bound glass matt to prevent any risk of osmosis developing.

All gelcoat and glassfibre is laid up by hand, incorporating chopped glass strand matt and unidirectional and woven rovings. Full length moulded spray deflectors are moulded to give a dry ride and exceptional directional stability in adverse conditions.

The integral bathing platform gives the boat a longer waterline length for improved performance, particularly at reduced power settings. This Hull has been painted with high quality "antifouling" prior to leaving the factory,

Engine bearers are moulded into the hull. The propellers are set in demi-tunnels, enabling the engines to be located further aft, also reducing draft and improving efficiency by reducing the shaft angle.

The hull-to-deck joint is both bonded and through-bolted. The deck incorporates polyurethane foam cores for high strength and excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) - an electronically controlled processing sys­tem that determines the precise quantity of fuel required at any given moment. The FOC system takes full account of variation in operating temperature, air pressure and other Coetributing factors, which optimizes engine performance and efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Enhanced onboard comfort

The Volvo Pasta in-line six cylinder engine is an uncomplicated design with a min­imum of moving parts, specially developed for highly demanding marine applications.
