Description
This 2005 Bavaria 39 Cruiser, designed by J&J Design and built by Bavaria Yachtbau, is a spacious and well-equipped fiberglass sailing yacht measuring 11.97m in length, 3.97m in width, and a draft of 1.85m, with a fin keel and a mahogany interior.
With 4 cabins and a headroom of up to 2.00m, it offers comfortable accommodation for a larger crew. It displaces 7.6 tons and is powered by a 2016 Volvo Penta D2-40 diesel engine with 40hp and only 511 running hours, saildrive, and an economical consumption of approximately 2 liters per hour. The rudder was renewed in 2023.
The sail plan is extensive, featuring both a conventional mainsail and a fully battened mainsail from Rolly Tasker, a genoa, and a high aspect jib, supported by 6 winches, a mainsail drop system with lazy jacks, and a spinnaker pole. On deck, there is a sprayhood, cockpit tent, bimini, sail cover, roller cover, and winter cover.
The electrical system includes three service batteries and a starter battery from 2023, a Victron inverter, a 100-watt solar panel, and shore power. The navigation equipment consists of a Raymarine suite with chart plotter, depth sounder, log, and wind set, a Raymarine Ray53 VHF radio with GPS (2023), autopilot, and AIS.
On board, comfort is well taken care of with an indoor and outdoor shower, 2 toilets with an 80-liter waste water tank, a 3-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator, hot water boiler, and an Autoterm diesel heater. The water tank has a generous capacity of 360 liters. VAT has been demonstrably paid, and the ship is registered as a B-ship — transfer costs are for the buyer.
