Hallberg-Rassy 43 MKI (2006/2007) – Proven Bluewater Cruiser
The Hallberg-Rassy 43 MKI is widely regarded as one of the finest bluewater cruising yachts ever built. Designed by German Frers and built to Hallberg-Rassy's renowned standards, she combines outstanding offshore performance, exceptional build quality, and timeless Scandinavian craftsmanship.
This particular yacht was built in 2006 and launched in 2007. She has had only three owners since new and has recently completed both the ARC+ 2025 Atlantic Rally and the ARC Europe 2026, proving her offshore capabilities and demonstrating that she is ready for immediate long-distance cruising. Throughout the current ownership, the yacht has benefited from continuous maintenance and numerous upgrades, ensuring she is presented in excellent cruising condition.
Powered by a reliable Volvo Penta D2-75 diesel engine with approximately 1,515 engine hours, the yacht also features a Fisher Panda 5000i generator, a Superwind wind generator, upgraded solar panels, a Zero Salt watermaker, electric furling rig, electric winches and an 8 hp bow thruster, providing exceptional autonomy for extended cruising.
Below deck, the classic Hallberg-Rassy interior offers a spacious saloon, a well-protected navigation station, a generous seagoing galley, two comfortable cabins and two heads. Comfort on board is further enhanced by Webasto diesel heating throughout the yacht, air conditioning in the aft cabin, a washing machine, and numerous practical features designed for extended cruising and life aboard.
The yacht has received a number of significant upgrades in recent years, including new standing rigging in 2024, complete Dyneema running rigging in 2025, new Raymarine Axiom Pro 2S chartplotter, Quantum 2 Doppler radar, upgraded Victron inverter and battery charger, new service batteries, resealed hatches and portlights, Starlink and Iridium Go communication systems, together with safety equipment meeting ARC offshore rally requirements.
