Designed by Jean François Garry and crafted with passion by shipwright Alexandre Genoud, Nola Darling combines the elegant curves of a classic yacht with the hull and appendages of a modern sailboat. Nola Darling meets a program for day trips, regattas, or small coastal navigation, with a bright cabin featuring 4 berths.

The hull is made of mahogany strip planking; it has been recently repainted. The varnished oak gunwales provide the final aesthetic touch, along with the trim, fenders, and the transom in the same wood tone.

The boat sails for two months a year and is stored dry. It is maintained at the Ileaux shipyard in Noirmoutier, and its condition is close to new.

With a sail area of 34 m2 on the wind for 1,300 kg of displacement, performance in light winds is excellent. The 40 m2 asymmetrical spinnaker is rigged on a retractable carbon fiber pole.

The pivoting keel is operated with a hydraulic cylinder, allowing for easy grounding.

For harbor maneuvers, a fixed Aquamot electric pod, paired with 2 new 105 Ah batteries, provides comfort and safety.
