Description
Luxurious and seaworthy bluewater cruiser built in France fully equipped for circumnavigation. A proven concept, the high standard of boatbuilding in the yard and the focus on safety, reliability and comfort make AMEL sailing yachts legendary vessels for long distance sailing and you meet them in the most remote areas of the world. Solid and stiff construction with bulkheads laminated to hull and deck (partially watertight bulkheads) and laminated hull/deck joint. Well protected, deep center cockpit with fixed windscreen and sprayhood. Spacious owner's cabin aft over the entire beam of the ship and spacious engine room for easy maintenance access. With two double berths, two bunk beds and the skipper’s berth to starboard in the passageway to the aft cabin, the AMEL 54 sleeps up to seven passengers, while the practical interior provides excellent support in rough conditions.
AMEL 54 hull number #131, built in 2009, is now offered for sale. Well-maintained owner's yacht from first ownership with continuous professional technical service. Extensive specification including diesel generator, watermaker, diesel heating, two anchor windlasses with dual ground tackle and much more. Electric furling systems for genoa, staysail and mainsail, together with electric winches for mainsheet and genoa sheets, allow the yacht to be handled easily and safely by a small crew from the protection of the cockpit. Complete navigation and communication package including radar, two chart plotters, autopilot and VHF. The owner has recently invested substantially in upgrades, including new RECKMANN headsail furling systems in 2020, a complete new set of sails in 2026, new chart plotters in 2020, new diesel heating in 2022 and much more. Since delivery, this AMEL 54 has always been based on the German coast of the Baltic Sea, where she is available for inspection upon appointment.
