This very well-maintained example from 2011 is one of the last Comfortina 39 built in Sweden and represents the high build quality, solid craftsmanship, and timeless elegance that have made Comfortina so appreciated. The boat has been handled very carefully, always winter-stored in a heated hall, and is in unusually fine and well-preserved condition.
Comfortina 39 is a well-balanced and secure sailboat with excellent performance, good course stability, and an easily driven character that makes her equally appreciated during active sailing as on longer holiday voyages. The thoughtfully designed deck layout, Seldén rig, furling system, and six Andersen winches provide excellent conditions for efficient and comfortable handling even with a smaller crew.
Below deck, you are greeted by an unusually well-planned and pleasant interior with three cabins, a spacious saloon, L-shaped galley, and a separate navigation station. The exclusive teak interior, solid joinery, and high-quality finish clearly reflect Comfortina’s renowned boatbuilding tradition. The starboard aft cabin functions both as a full-fledged cabin and as a generous flexible and storage space with direct access from the cockpit, making the layout particularly practical for longer sailings.
The boat is very well-equipped with, among other things, a retractable bow thruster, extensive navigation equipment, diesel heater, electric toilet, dual windlasses, Code Zero, and gennaker.
This particular unit was built as a demo boat and showcased at the boat show in Älvsjö. The boat was not sailed during the years 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016, as it was instead stored in a heated hall, and the current owner purchased her in 2017 from the first owner. Since then, she has continued to be handled very carefully, serviced annually, and always winter-stored in a heated hall; the saildrive diaphragm was replaced in 2025 and the gas hoses in 2021. The result is a used but unusually well-preserved Comfortina 39 with an overall impression that clearly testifies to long-term and careful ownership.
