KASTER has been designed in accordance with IRC and ORC regulations. The hull has been studied using the most advanced VPP and CFD (computational fluid dynamics) methods to ensure balanced and high-performance behavior, both in windward/leeward races and coastal ones. Racing version with a tiller and double rudders, easily convertible to a performance cruiser version. The interiors offer a spacious dinette and six berths, with a walkthrough kitchen and a bathroom to starboard. The construction uses unidirectional and biaxial fiberglass fabrics in sandwich, with corecell and epoxy resin. The mast, boom, and bowsprit are made of carbon. The particular design gives the whole structure superior rigidity and allows for weight reduction.
