DELTA POWERBOATS 88 CARBON 2026 - FLAGSHIP CARBON FIBER MOTOR YACHT - NEW BUILD

Recognized as Motor Boat & Yachting's Motor Yacht of the Year, the Delta Powerboats 88 Carbon stands as the undisputed flagship of the Delta Carbon Series and one of the most technically advanced production motor yachts in the world. Built entirely in vacuum-infused carbon fiber by Luksusjaht AS in Estonia, this 25.72-metre vessel represents the culmination of over two decades of Scandinavian engineering philosophy applied to the highest standards of offshore yacht construction. Designed by Lars Modin and first delivered in 2010, the 88 Carbon pioneered large-scale carbon fiber motor yacht production and continues to define the benchmark for fuel efficiency, performance and refined liveaboard comfort in the 80-foot class.

The hull and superstructure are built exclusively in carbon fiber composite, resulting in a dry displacement of 39,000 kg on a 25.72-metre LOA with a 6.22-metre beam — proportions that confer exceptional sea-keeping behaviour while enabling a top speed of 39 knots from twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350 inboards producing 2,000 hp combined. A triple-engine option brings total output to 3,000 hp for owners requiring additional performance. The IPS integration delivers up to 40 percent reduction in fuel consumption relative to conventional shaft-drive configurations, and joystick manoeuvring from four stations makes handling in tight harbour environments effortless. The Seakeeper M16000 gyroscopic stabilizer ensures a comfortable platform at anchor and underway, and the Opacmare carbon transformer platform with passerelle provides seamless access to the water.

On deck, the 88 Carbon offers three distinct outdoor living zones: an expansive foredeck with U-shaped settee, lowerable table and oversized sunbed beneath a retractable sun awning; a generous aft deck dining area with serving galley, icemaker and IPS joystick station; and a full flybridge with U-shaped settee, wet bar with BBQ, and open helm seating for five. The Williams 385 tender is stowed in a dedicated garage aft, deployed via hydraulic lift.

Below, the handmade Scandinavian interior accommodates eight guests across four cabins, each with its own ensuite. The full-beam owner's stateroom is a private sanctuary with king-size bed, three-seat lounge, writing desk, Philippe Starck table lamps, concealed safe and a bathroom with switchable-opacity glass wall and Vola by Arne Jacobsen fittings. A forward VIP stateroom mirrors the owner's standard with king-size bed and Apple TV, while two further twin-cabin guest staterooms complete the accommodation. Crew quarters for two are separate from the guest areas. The main saloon flows from the glass cockpit bridge through a generous lounge with genuine leather sofas and concealed 55-inch TV lift, past a dining area for eight, into a fully equipped galley with Corian countertops, full-size fridge-freezer, five-zone stove, dishwasher and complete tableware for twelve. A Control4 AV system manages sound across ten onboard hi-fi zones.

Technical systems are at the highest specification: Garmin/Volvo Penta Glass Cockpit with three 22-inch MFDs at the interior helm and three 16-inch MFDs on the flybridge, Mastervolt 24V/220V installation, lithium battery bank, ASEA shorepower converter 36 kVA, twin 20 kW Fischer Panda generators for full redundancy, Webasto 160,000 BTU tropical air conditioning, watermaker and onboard laundry. CE Class B certified with optional MCA/RINA commercial classification, the 88 Carbon is equally suited to private ownership or professional crew operation.
