Description
The vessel was built in 1999 but started sailing in 2001, with only two owners and in the last 12 years it has sailed for 310 hours. In February, all the underwater parts were cleaned and antifouling was applied, etc., batteries from 2023, all documentation in order, Spanish flag, and navigation certificate valid until 2027. Well-maintained boat ready to sail.
The RO 300 is a 9-meter cruising sailboat designed by naval architect Javier Visiers and built by Ronautica Yachts starting in 1997. This model is characterized by its balance between sailing performance, structural safety, and habitability, making it a highly valued option for both coastal sailors and light racing enthusiasts.
With a total length of 9 meters, a beam of 3.19 meters, and a draft of 1.70 meters, the RO 300 features an optimized design for stable and agile sailing. Its displacement is around 3,550 kg, of which 1,400 kg corresponds to the lead ballast located in a fixed keel, providing great stability.
The rig is a fractional sloop type 9/10, with an aluminum mast and boom (Z-Spars), and a sail area of about 46 square meters, distributed between a mainsail with battens and a roller genoa. This configuration provides a good balance between power and ease of handling, allowing cruising speeds of up to 7 knots and peaks close to 8 knots with favorable wind.
It is powered by a reliable Volvo Penta MD2020 engine with between 18 and 20 HP and a saildrive system, sufficient for maneuvers in port and sailing in light winds. The tanks have a capacity of up to 70 liters of fuel and between 54 and 160 liters of fresh water, depending on the version.

Inside, the RO 300 offers a functional and comfortable design, with two double cabins, a convertible salon, a bathroom with shower, a full kitchen, and numerous storage spaces. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 or 7 crew members. On deck, it features a spacious cockpit, electric windlass, ladder and shower, and optionally a bimini or canopy.
Built from fiberglass with sandwich reinforcements, the RO 300 has a solid and seaworthy structure, certified under the standards of the Germanischer Lloyd. Its behavior at sea is noble and safe, ideal for both cruising and coastal sports sailing.
