2004 Moody 56 – LADY PAULINE

A comprehensively equipped and extensively upgraded Moody 56, designed by Bill Dixon and built for serious long-distance bluewater cruising.

Lady Pauline is a 2004 Moody 56 centre-cockpit cruising yacht presented in private ownership only and reportedly never chartered. Swiss flagged and currently afloat in Greece, the yacht has benefited from continuous owner maintenance together with substantial upgrading and replacement works undertaken during recent years.

The Moody 56 remains one of the most respected bluewater cruising yachts of her generation, combining strong offshore construction, secure centre-cockpit design, raised saloon visibility and a practical cutter-rig sail plan with spacious owner-oriented accommodation suited to extended cruising and liveaboard use.

This particular example has received significant recent investment including renewed standing rigging in 2023, replacement mast wiring in 2023, replacement in-mast furling gear in 2022, new mainsail in 2024, new genoa and staysail in 2025 all three sails made with cruising laminates for improved blue water cruising performance. This Moody 56 LADY PAULINE also benefits from lithium battery upgrades, replacement cockpit seat teak in 2024, all seacocks renewed in 2024, a fully overhauled Spectra Newport 700 watermaker in 2025, upgraded anchor equipment and a recent aluminium RIB tender package.

The Moody 56 is widely regarded as one of the standout centre-cockpit bluewater cruising yachts produced during the early 2000s.
