Boat Details
Description
Whilst this Cygnus GM19 had its hull constructed in 2012, the boat was not assembled and commissioned until 07/10/2016, with its surveyors' appraisal available.
Assembly of this dual-helm boat began in 2012 and was completed in 2016 by the original and only owner; this is a truly beautiful example. The GM19 is built with a heavy-construction GRP hull built to withstand commercial use. This example is finished and polished in navy blue, complemented with copper coating, gel shield, varnished wooden gunwhales and a cabin of the highest quality. As well as the superior build quality, the boat has clearly been maintained and looked after annually, as the finish is second to none.
The boat is equipped with the larger Beta 3-cylinder engine with 30 horsepower – larger than the standard options. This engine is a 2012 build and has only completed just shy of 90 hours from new and was not commissioned until 2016. The engine box is clean and has been well maintained and was last serviced in June 2025.
Teak can be found laid in the cockpit, which has numerous seats with 4 storage lockers underneath. At the stern is a rudder helm with engine controls on the starboard side, paired with an indoor helm position in the cabin (with wheel), complete with a Garmin chartplotter, VHF and all instruments.
As well as the internal helm position and wheel in the cabin, there is seating with cushions and an unused chemical toilet installed, which is accessible by opening the seat top and door.
Whilst much of the bilge is foam-filled, access can also be found from inside the cabin, which also has a large diesel tank.
The boat also comes with a DeGraaf 2012 tandem-axle trailer, wax-oiled from new, in good condition, which has been washed down following each launch/recovery.
If you are a Cygnus follower or are looking for a beautiful, reliable and well-made day boat, Josephine is for you. Viewings are available 6 days a week in Ipswich – please call 01473 225710 if you have any questions.
