The Outremer 45 is universally recognized as one of the reference models in the world of performance cruising catamarans. Designed for sailors who prioritize seaworthiness, lightness, and efficiency under sail, it combines robust infusion construction, secure deck ergonomics, and optimized volumes for life on board. Capable of covering miles at high averages with great stability, the 45 has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to cross oceans quickly and safely.

Built in 2019 in La Grande Motte, OATAO began its journey at the shipyard before embarking on its voyage to French Polynesia. This journey, carried out in accordance with the model's DNA, perfectly illustrates the program for which it was designed: long-distance offshore cruising. Now based in Papeete, it is immediately available, ideally positioned to continue sailing in the South Pacific or prepare for a new ocean tour.

Its configuration reflects a coherent and demanding offshore program. The aluminum rigging ensures robustness and ease of maintenance worldwide, while the sail plan is particularly comprehensive and performance-oriented. The mainsail and the solent in Hydranet, signed by Incidence, offer excellent shape retention and appreciable longevity for long crossings. In addition, there is a heavy spinnaker perfectly suited for established trade winds, a Code 0 to optimize close-hauled and broad reaching in light winds, as well as a versatile Code D, ideal for intermediate downwind angles. This set allows for fully exploiting the potential of the 45 while maintaining control and ease of handling.

Sailing is assisted by a complete B&G electronic system, known for its reliability and accuracy in long-distance cruising. Wind, speed, depth, and navigation information are centralized clearly and effectively, providing comfort during watch and safety during long passages. Speaking of autonomy, 1400 W of solar panels (new) provide the necessary energy for daily needs.

Life on board benefits from particularly appreciated equipment under tropical latitudes. The carbon bimini, both rigid, lightweight, and elegant, effectively protects the cockpit while respecting the boat's performance philosophy. A complete canopy reinforces this protection against the sun and bad weather, allowing full enjoyment of the Polynesian anchorages. A washing machine completes the comfort equipment, an undeniable asset for autonomy during extended stays in isolated archipelagos.

The interior layout remains true to the Outremer spirit: three functional double cabins, effective natural ventilation, ample storage, and a secure L-shaped galley for the sea.
