A superb sailboat designed by Marc LOMBARD and built by RM YACHTS in La Rochelle, France.

1260 benefits from a typology perfectly oriented for long cruising:
- Hull with chines reducing the heeling effect
- Mono-hull and twin rudder version
- Thermal and acoustic insulation due to the epoxy + Kevlar plywood construction
The words of the press on the occasion of the "Best European Boat" award won by the
RM 1260 in the Family Cruiser category:
"A beautiful reward for this 12 m 60 sailboat that impressed a jury of European journalists. The largest European shipyards presented their new models and it was the RM shipyard in La Rochelle that won this prize!"
A large cockpit welcomes the crew to share the pleasure of sailing and stops.
The saloon is spacious, bright, and offers a panoramic view greatly appreciated for monitoring sail adjustments and the boat's surroundings.
Traffic flows smoothly between living and resting areas.
2 beautiful double cabins, including 1 "owner" cabin, designed to offer comfort and storage.
The ergonomic and super-equipped kitchen: 2 sinks + option "sea water pump / fresh water pump", stove and oven, refrigerator with 2 compartments. There are many accessible storage spaces.
The technical room provides access to most of the onboard equipment and allows for storage of:
Sails - oilskins - equipment.
"THE RM 1260 HITCHCOCK by its owner:
Successor, within our family, to the RM1200 Alfred, Hitchcock is a 1260 mono-hull twin rudder Kevlar, carefully customized and meticulously equipped to meet our tastes and requirements. After a summer of shakedown in the Bay of Biscay, Hitchcock crossed the Atlantic with a reduced family crew in the winter of 2013-2014. Since then, the boat has sailed the Antillean Arc, spending the winter in the Virgin Islands and the summer in the Grenadines and Grenada. Sailing six months a year and pulled out of the water the rest of the time (under a full cover), Hitchcock has been maintained with obsessive care, has never been rented, and has always been used "in good seamanship." It is a fast, easy, and maneuverable boat that provides real pleasure in sailing. Stiff under sail, sturdy, comfortable at sea as well as at anchor, it is perfectly suited for life offshore (returning all maneuvers to the cockpit and interior watch) as well as for coastal cruising. Parting with it is heartbreaking, passing it on is a consolation!"
Comfort and performance are on the agenda for the next cruises aboard this beautiful RM 1260-2013
